This is an invitation to explore the vast consciousness of the feminine and its relevance to 21st century living.
• We will look at how this energy has become distorted and misrepresented in an adverse way
• We will explore its true qualities and recognise how important they are in life – for health and well-being
• We will focus on how to harness this consciousness to offer a better quality of living and creative life.
• Through a combination of Yoga practice, group-discussion, creative contemplation and more . . , the power of the feminine will be explored within a safe and nurturing environment.
The theme for this 4 week course is systems of the body.
We will explore the self through the complexity and beauty of the human body by working with the:
- musculo-skeletal system
- fluid system
- organ system
- cellular systems.
4 places left in each class at 6pm and 7.45pm and there is still time to book.

Over the last 6 weeks, Praxis Yoga students have been exploring their world through the template of the Solar System – 5 planets as known from the Old World, plus the Sun as a yellow dwarf star.
As well as touching base with each planet’s physical qualities, we have been consciously working with their metaphysical qualities. Why are they important? Because they are assumed to influence both collective and personal consciousness – therefore our own lives. This term’s classes were aimed at raising conscious awareness, to see how we can tap into the energy of the planets for our own development and evolution.
Photos above from my weekly class whiteboard scribings provide an aide-memoir – to help you connect and feed your wonder for the natural, phenomenal world in which we inhabit.

Today is the launch date of the NEW Praxis Yoga/British Wheel of Yoga Personal Development Module ‘Chakras and The Human Energy System’ starting in January 2017. A fantastic opportunity to study the Chakra system – in order to become a proficient and informed energy practitioner.

PRAXIS JUNE 16 YOGA CLASSES and WORKSHOPS BOOKING FORM
Part 1: Light My Fire – Honouring the Summer Solstice – Sunday 19 June
A poignant day focusing on the Sun – astronomically as a star and the meaning of the Solstice; symbolically, the sun representing masculine energy; spiritually, Surya (sun) as provider of life-giving energy.
Physically – we will work with a preparation for, and actual Yoga practice of, Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) – that helps to support building strength, stamina and endurance.
Psycho-spiritually – we will focus on developing a wholesome relationship with the element of the Sun and its place in daily life.
Part 2: Light My Agni – My Change and Transformation Process – Sunday 17 July
A poignant day focusing on one’s individual Yogic metaphorical ‘digestive’ fire called Agni and its importance in the alchemical process of change.
Physically – we will build on the physical practice from Part 1, supplementing this further with pranayama and mantra practice
Psycho-spiritually – we will look at how one’s Agni is vital in the process of alchemy, in particular in preparation for the individuation process of change and transformation
